This blog is all about Enthralled by Jill. Let me start from the beginning and work my way to present day. Hopefully this will not be a 12 page novel...but we will see! :)

When I was in Middle School, I had a problem with insecurity. So a leader at my church gave me a list of Bible verses to help with insecurity. This is the moment I found my life verse:

"The King is enthralled by your beauty; Honor Him for He is your Lord. " Psalm 45:11

This verse..these 14 words...have changed my life over and over again. This past January as I was standing before my Groom, my father said a speech before giving my hand away saying how I never settled. What was going through my mind at that moment: "Of course I never settled Lord, You have always been enthralled by my beauty and in honoring You, You have given me this wonderful man."

So naturally, I have named my business Enthralled by Jill. Not only do I seek God's blessing in all I do- I desperately need Him in all I do! Over the years, I have made many cards, many home decor boards, many invitations, etc...all for His glory. You might want to stop reading at this point, you might be saying "Wow a little much on the God part", but it is the Truth. If I can do anything during my life here on earth, I can praise Him for all He has done and share it with YOU.

More on my background, I live in South Carolina with my wonderful husband, Daniel. We have 3 dogs(1 of which I only claim on certain days...whew).  I enjoy reading..actually I really really love reading. Honestly, I am really excited that football season started because it keeps my husband entertained while I have my nose in books! Ha! Ok, back to the subject. We just moved to the beautiful country land(aka boonies) of South Carolina and are about 30 minutes from Myrtle Beach. (Yes life is tough!) Our families are all over the United States, so it has taken me a sweet minute to get adapted to this country lifestyle. But all in all, I am in love with it! We are so very fortunate for all of the blessings we have received and are extremely happy Newlyweds. This "first year is the hardest" has not affected us one bit.  Our favorite thing to do on weekends: take the dogs to the beach, get fresh seafood, drive the strip and of course go by SugarLife for some treats.
